Lead Pastor - Kenny Vinston

Kenny was born and raised on the Crystal Coast and now makes his home in New Bern with his wife of 20 years, Sherri. He enjoys spending time with his wife and watching various sports - especially college basketball.

Kenny was called to ministry in 2013, and in 2016 he began his vocational ministry by answering the call to be a lead pastor. God brought Kenny to Antioch in January of 2016, where he has embraced the challenges and blessings of pastoring Antioch Church.

In 2015, Kenny received a Bachelor's degree from Liberty University in Religion with an emphasis on Biblical and Theological studies, a Master's of Arts in Homiletics in 2016, and a Master of Divinity in Christian Ministries in 2019. He is currently working on a Doctor of Ministry.

Kenny is looking forward to making Jesus famous in Craven county and beyond, for the glory of God!

Worship Leader - Destinee Wetherington

Destinee is a natural born leader with a passion for the performing arts. Throughout her school years, Destinee played clarinet, took dance, was a cheerleader, and performed in color guard. After graduating, she went back to her high school and coached the color guard for many marching seasons. Now, Destinee teaches a women's dance fitness class held at the church every Monday.

Along with her husband and daughter, Destinee began attending Antioch in 2020. In early 2021, the Wetherington family joined the church as members, and quickly began getting involved.

As worship leader, Destinee wishes to make Jesus famous by moving both the worship team and church forward through new music, while also bringing everyone back to the true meaning of worship. She believes that our musical worship sets the stage in our minds and souls for the message that will follow, and hopes to encourage everyone who joins us to actively engage in worship through song.
